The same heavens, 5990 sidereal years apart
At the sunset that began creation, and again on 23 Sep 2017, the Sun stood in Virgo, the Moon at her feet in Libra, three planets in Leo's crown and Jupiter within Virgo. Stars compared with stars: heavenly time.

Creation, Day 1
Sunset, JD 270128.197 · 28 Jul 3974 BC (Julian)
- ☉Sun in Virgo, clothing the woman
- ☾Moon in Libra, under her feet, 4 days after new moon
- ♛Mercury · Venus · Saturn in Leo, the crown
- ♂Mars in Virgo, entered 4 days before Day 1
- ♃Jupiter in Virgo for 465 days; retrograde loop 123 days
The Sun returns to its creation Day 6 stars, 5990 sidereal years on, on 23 Sep 2017: the day of the sign.
Mars enters the womb as creation begins
Jupiter's loops through Virgo recur in other years. What marks the creation sky alone is the red planet: Mars crosses into the womb on the eve of Day 1 and stands there through creation week.
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon … and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered”

In 2017 Mars was not at the womb but in Leo, among the crown. Only the creation sky has the red planet before the woman.
The womb's eastern edge is Spica; its western edge (197.5°) is approximate. Mars moves 0.7° a day, so the few hours' uncertainty in ΔT shifts these times by hours, not days.

Two kinds of time. Heavenly time compares stars with stars, in sidereal years (365.256363 days) from sunset JD 270128.197. Events in our era are compared on the calendar as it stands: any correction would apply to both ends and cancel.
The year. The Geneva Bible chronology of 1560 also puts Creation in 3974 BC, the anchor's year. Years on this page are counted from creation (JD 270128, this year 6000), whichever count the calendar is set to.
Limits. ΔT at 3974 BC (1.24 days) is extrapolated, so the creation-side times are good to a few hours. The womb transit lengths depend on where its edges are drawn. Sky positions: astronomy-engine, IAU constellation boundaries.
